1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) help us keep you signed in and run the Service securely.
2. How InstaSurv uses cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are essential for the platform to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core application.
3. Types of cookies we use
The following categories apply to instasurv.co.uk and the InstaSurv application:
- Strictly necessary: authentication sessions (e.g. NextAuth), security, and load balancing. These are required to log in and use the Service.
- Client portal sessions: cookies that keep portal users signed in when accessing quotes, reports, and messages.
- Public link sessions: short-lived cookies for secure tender, report share, and similar token-based flows.
- Preference cookies: optional settings you choose in the product (where implemented).
4. Third-party services
Our payment provider may set cookies when you manage billing. Embedded content or support tools, if used, may set their own cookies subject to their policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features of InstaSurv.
For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookies notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
